Ms. Jackson, If Ya Nasty

I don’t know if y’all saw these floating over the  net yet but Ms. Jackson is DEFINITELY doing her thing.  I don’t think she’s ever had a better hairstyle (well, besides Pleasure Principle which I’m currently seeing all over now and plus I have bang envy).  I’m in love with this makeup too.  Maybe someone can do a Face Of The Day based on this?

Orange Crush

Orange is a fabulous color that works on pretty much any skin tone.  It’s another way to say “HELLO WORLD, I’M HERE AND I’M HOT!” and it’s becoming a favorite of mine.  Maybe because I’m livening up my living room with the color or maybe because I got the greatest deal on my $33 Easter dress (yes, I still get them) or maybe because I saw Miss Zoe Saldana killing the color in the most beautiful dress recently…but orange is at the forefront of my mind.  Take a gander at me and Zoe rocking our orange dresses and then take a looksee at a few orange stunners that I found online.

Serve This Roy-alty, Right

I loves me some Rachel Roy. Now it wasn’t always a love affair as she has definitely made some questionable fashion choices (Hammer pants, Dame Dash…lol) but no matter what risks she takes, she is always polished and lady-like. Her love of dresses and her feminine flair mixed with clean yet urban details really sets her apart and makes her tops on my style mavens’ list.
